RoadEQ measures cabin road noise and recommends careful equalizer settings for a compatible Tesla Model Y. It never changes vehicle settings automatically.

Before measuring

Mount your iPhone securely and arm RoadEQ while parked.
Allow microphone and location access. RoadEQ uses location only to derive speed and measurement stability.
Pause music and keep the cabin conditions representative of your normal drive.
Drive normally; do not interact with the app while the vehicle is moving.

If RoadEQ keeps waiting or retries

Use a steady highway segment with minimal acceleration or braking.
Check that the phone remains securely mounted and the microphone is unobstructed.
A retry is expected when speed changes or a sample is interrupted.
Review and apply any recommended equalizer settings only after stopping.
