HearHere Guide is published by SoftwareByEugene LLC. This policy explains what information the app processes and how it is used.
We use this information to provide nearby results, generate guides and answers, create audio, restore purchases, manage usage allowances, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
HearHere Guide relies on Apple services including Core Location, MapKit, Speech Recognition, StoreKit, and App Attest or DeviceCheck. Our backend runs on Google Cloud and uses Google Cloud Firestore and storage. OpenAI processes selected-place context, question text, and generated guide text to create guide content and speech. Public information providers and websites may receive place or search terms when the service researches a selected location. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Visit history, cached guide text and audio, app state, and an app-specific anonymous identifier may be stored locally on your device or in the iOS Keychain. You can remove ordinary local app data by deleting the app.
You control location, microphone, and speech-recognition access in iOS Settings. Backend records are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service and to meet legal obligations. To request access to or deletion of information associated with your use of HearHere Guide, contact us at the address below.
HearHere Guide is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy when app functionality or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
